The EcoPark-Cameroun ecotourism park (Yaoundé, Cameroon) was designated to host the first edition of IFAR. Also called the “city of seven hills” in reference to the many hills that make it up, Yaoundé is the political capital of Cameroon, home to most Cameroonian institutions. Located in the Ahala district, a southern suburb of the capital, EcoPark is a heavenly complex extending over more than 40 hectares, made up, among other things, of several restaurants concocting entirely organic dishes reflecting the cultural and culinary diversity of Cameroon, ponds containing several varieties fish, a zoo housing rare and protected species, hotels, relaxation areas (restaurant, snack bar and games room), as well as large walking areas, allowing visitors to commune with nature in absolute silence and invigorating.
